I am so jazzed ladies. This week I have strengthened my knee to the point where I think I may be able to afford a slow jog. I would love to be able to run a bit - but really would like to be able to simply just walk three miles in 36 minutes. I had at one point gotten it to 40 minutes...
Today I biked 7.2 miles and it felt great. Walked yesterday 3 miles and the day before - for about 40 minutes at a good clip with Claudia:-) Mira, we are going to get your stamina up - we are getting closer:-) Ladies, get on line and share! This is fun and I like the mild accountability it gives me. Happy Memorial Day weekend. Remember our troops - past and present. It is why we are able to get out and exercise...

BRRRR...

Good morning ladies! At 7:00 a.m. (yes, on a Sunday!) I went out and rode 5.8 miles and it is 37 cold degrees!! What are you all up to? I do not see notes...Let's get this thing rolling...my kids so far are the only ones cheering me on. I have noticed that if I take a day off, my knees remind me to get back out there! Have a great day. I am feeling like I will look like a million bucks in my black dress today:-)

Weather deterrent??

This morning I was wondering if I would get blown away with this weather. My day got away from me yesterday. After school my house had three extra children and leaving them alone is not an option...We made rice krispie treats and I did a lot of running up and down stairs! That should count:-)
Remeber that we are here to inpsire each other...unless you visit and share your stories, we won't be able to do that!! I love knowing that each of you is working hard and that if you miss a day for some reason, it is good to share that. Being accountable is important to our success. I was feeling lousy that I did not walk for two days, both physically and emotionally. I am going to get out today and ride and also do some at home exercises. I must, I have Boston Legal to catch up on tonight!!! Have a great weekend ladies - keep at it and remember, moving foward is slow, hard work. Taking steps backward is easy and ultimately not rewarding. Love you!

Good Morning Ladies! Over the weekend the kids and I did yard work and a little walking. Yesterday and Monday I had my walk and even took on the rain! Despite my sweetness, I did not melt!!!! I was hoping to ride last night, but it got late and I was beat. No walk this a.m. - but will head out after my presentation with Christopher's class. Keep up the good work and stay focused! Claudia, I will teach you how to get here later today!!

This morning we walked our three miles and chatted the whole way! It makes it go sooo fast! I felt really energized - each day gets easier to get out and go - I am not wanting to skip a day at all! If it rains tomorrow, that will be a drag...perhaps the kids and I will do the stairs at home several times!

May 7th - dreary and raining...However, yesterday I walked in the morning 2 and 1/2 miles with my walking pal:-) Hope you are feeling better today, friend. In the afternoon I walked another two miles bringing the total to 4 1/2 for the day! Yea:-) Keep up the good work, ladies! Taking the day off today as I have to be able to have clean clothes to walk in tomorrow!
